Campsite description: The camp lies in the magnificent countryside near the village Strmilov, on the bank of the Komorník pond with the stretch of 60 ha and length of 3,5 km. Excellent conditions for bathing (sandy beaches), water sports, mushrooming and hiking. In the ambient there is a lot of tourist attractions within the distance of 20 km for lovers of history, nature, hiking and cycle-touring. There is also a wide range of cultural and historical monumets: Telč, Dačice, J. Hradec, Žirovnice, Landštejn, narrow gauge railway Nová Bystřice and others. It is especially suitable for families with children or for sports and tourist sections. Strmilov is a gate to the Bohemian Canada. Komorník car-camping was announced the best camp in the
years of 2008 and 2009.
